Great Deals on "Brownfield" Sites
We were involved in Brownfields before they were even called Brownfields!
For the past 16 years, we have been involved in dozens of transactions involving Brownfields or contaminated land. As a former environmental consultant, I love to work on these projects.
We are currently aware of several Brownfield sites that are exceptional candidates for redevelopment. Most of these sites are “infill” locations in areas where there is little or no available land. Potential redevelopment uses for these sites range from continuing heavy industrial uses, to commercial, residential or mixed use.
We have several sites that have extensive water frontage, including some with frontage on Lake Michigan. We also have sites with rail access, as well as near major interstates and tollways.
Because of our knowledge of environmental issues and state cleanup requirements, and our experience in working on these projects, and our broad list of contacts with Brownfield developers, we are VERY effective at marketing these types of properties.
